Originally commissioned for a colleague's thesis defense, this track was created to highlight the positive impact of artistic expression in public education pedagogy.
This track was recorded in a friend's practice space, with live bass guitar and electric guitar improvisation and looping using a Line 6 DL4. Improvisational piano and post-effects were added after the live tracking. Version A is the track as it was originally written, but time stretched using mlrV. Version B contains 6 separate "movements" of the original track, broken down into samples that are re-arranged, time stretched or compressed, and performed via an older monome 64 using mlrV. This new format allows Version B to be performed live or mixed with other performance elements.
